The Court notes with sadness the passing of long-time Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter. By Order of the court, the Midland-Odessa Division will be closed on Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., to allow members of the court family to attend funeral services. This affects the U.S. District Court, U.S. Magistrate Court, U.S. District Clerk’s Office, U.S. Probation Office, U.S. Pretrial Services Office and the Federal Public Defender.
